#MitelNext2021: Timico’s key takeaways

Albeit a little different this year, the first ever virtual #MitelNext2021 event was a triumph! We caught up with some of our colleagues who attended to see what they learnt during the three-day event.

Exclusively welcoming partners from across the globe, Mitel Next is always a key fixture in the tech calendar. However, this year due to restrictions, the event went online with attendees zooming in from their homes. A series of conferences and webinars provided insight into how our growing partnership and Mitel’s products can help transform our customers’ IT infrastructures both now and in the future.

Our strategic partnership with Mitel means that we can provide and deliver some of the best UC&C solutions that are fit for growth. The close working partnership helps customers successfully digitally transform their business, equip their contact centres and ultimately deliver an excellent customer experience.

During a series of conferences and webinars, the future of business communication landscapes was a hot topic for discussion. This has been of significant interest to Mitel in recent monthshaving quoted in their blog: “Now is the time to consider what’s worked in both the past and the present—and then use these insights to better inform the future. Whatever challenges lie ahead, it’s clear that remote work, hybrid workforces and virtual contact centers will be taking centre stage.

With a breadth of subjects discussed and knowledge shared, we pinned down our colleagues who attended the event to ask what their key takeaways from the event were.

Nathan Steadman, Managing Architect

Excellent customer experience and system integration have never been more prevalent, with organisations striving to become smarter and more productive in how they serve their customers. Companies like Mitel are already demonstrating how this can be achieved through digital transformation.

Keith Latham, Senior UC&C Engineer

The Mitel Next event really helped refocus on the new era we are moving into with unified communicationsIt was great to catch up with suppliers and compare the progress we have all made during the difficult previous year. The event helped us gain an understanding and perspective as to how the marketplace is evolving, and the new products and technologies coming along to assist with the journey.

Tommy Dowd, Product Manager

It was great to see how Mitel continues to focus and invest in their partner program, something we are proud to be part of. I was also pleased to see confirmation that MiCloud Connect will soon be available for partners to sell. I look forward to hearing more about this proposition soon.
