Key acquisition strengthens Timico’s portfolio of services for customers

We are delighted to announce our latest acquisition of Arcus Cloud Services Limited (ACS), the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public sector advanced consulting firm. The acquisition will be key in strengthening our portfolio of services, enabling us to continue delivering high-value digital transformation solutions for our customers.

ACS is a Cambridge-based cloud native organisation. It focuses particularly on public sector organisations, complementing our recent appointment to the G-Cloud 12 Framework. With a highly talented team, ACS has been an AWS partner since 2011, previously part of the wider Arcus Global business.

Arcus Cloud Services Acquisition

Ensuring long-term customer value

In addition to reaffirming our position as one of the UK’s leading cloud-based managed service providers, the multi-million-pound acquisition will provide invaluable opportunities for our customers. The broadening of our portfolio and services will ensure long-term customer value and success.

Also, with Timico’s support, ACS will drive new capability and digital transformation services, providing advice, design, implementation, and managed services for the AWS environment.

Strengthening Timico’s portfolio

Our CEO, Neil Muller, commented: “This acquisition marks an exciting development in the continued evolution of our business and strengthens the growing portfolio of our digital services and solutions. The Arcus Cloud Services team has an excellent pedigree as an established and trusted provider. We are delighted to be adding their knowledge and professional capability to the Timico Group. We look forward to collaborating with the ACS team, and see their AWS capabilities as a core part of the business.”

Arcus Cloud Services Managing Director, Tim Lancaster, commented: “We are excited by this next step on our journey. I am confident we are joining the right people at Timico to enable further growth and success for both us, and our customers.”

Timico and ACS will continue to operate autonomously under our respective brands at this time. Our focus is to continue providing customers with excellent service and a wider portfolio of digital solutions and managed services.

Managing Partner, Simon Hitchcock, at Horizon Capital, private equity backer to Timico, concluded: “ACS is the third acquisition we have made with Timico since our investment. This acquisition is a key enabler to creating a market leader in the digital transformation market. We look forward to supporting Timico in further acquisitions of technically brilliant, high growth businesses with strong cultures like ACS.”
