Network Operations Centre - 1st Line Support Advisor - Shifts


Reporting to: Network Operations Centre - Shifts Team Leader
Salary: Up to £20,000 (including shift allowance)
Job summary: We are looking for self-motivated individuals to join our Network Operations Centre 1st Line Support Shifts Team. This team is responsible for providing 24/7 support services across our whole product range including IP Telephony (VoIP), Internet Services, Fixed Lines and Mobile Data.

Working as part of our supportive and knowledgeable team you will be providing first line technical assistance over the phone. You will work closely with our partners and customers to resolve technical queries, managing these promptly and efficiently through to resolution as a part of our mission to provide superior service to our customers.

The successful candidate must have experience of working in a technical support role, have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Deliver a first class customer experience
  • Deal quickly and efficiently with customer incidents and enquiries by phone and email
  • Take ownership of and manage customer incidents through to resolution
  • Liaise with our partners and suppliers to aide incident resolution
  • Keep customers and Business Partners fully up to date with the progression of their incident
  • Engage with other areas of the business to ensure the customer’s requirement is delivered
  • Organise and prioritise own workload
  • Be confident in advising customers on new products available and how they would benefit them
  • Work as part of a four on/ four off, twelve hour shift rotation within our 24/7 NOC

Minimum qualifications and relevant experience:
  • Previous experience working on a technical support desk
  • Qualifications such as MCP, MCSE or CCNA would be ideal
